A green underline represents a grammar error and a red underline represents a spelling error.
There are two ways in correcting these errors.
Method 1: Right click on text which has the error and select appropriate action.
Method 2: This method uses the spelling and grammar dialogue box.
- To open the dialogue box press shortcut F7. Alternatively, on the menu bar click Review and then click spelling and grammar.
- To scroll to the next without changing, on the dialogue box, click ignore once or next sentence.
- To scroll past all errors of same type, on the dialogue box, click ignore all.
- To change only that error, click change.
- To change all instances of that error, click change all.
Note: The spelling and grammar tool is not entire accurate and can miss errors or suggest changes to correct spelling or grammar. Use your judgement.
